Notes from your executive director:
We will have a board meeting next week, after breakfast.
Execs will have this fiscal year’s annual meeting (members only) on October 23. We will be voting on removing part of the verbiage in Article IV, Section two of our bylaws. The board will explain why they are asking for a vote on this. The meeting will be somewhat of a town hall format before votes are cast.
Our holiday party will be held on Thursday, December 5. Please add it to your calendar if you have not already! We will NOT meet on Wed. the 4th of December that week.
Also, we will not have a meeting the Wednesday before Thanksgiving!

After careful consideration and due to a recent shift in my company’s strategic focus, I believe it is prudent for me to step away from Execs. As my attention is now directed toward a broader spectrum of marketing, I foresee a potential conflict with Barnard’s business, which I want to avoid. It is with regret that I submit my resignation from the association, though I feel it is my responsibility to ensure no overlap in interests. I would very much appreciate being considered for re-entry should space become available or if my business direction changes to no longer present a conflict. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the group and will miss the camaraderie and professional connections. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this esteemed community. (DREW LINTZ)
