The Rotary Board agreed to open our April 21st event to other clubs and organizations. We’re including the other 7 Colorado Springs based Rotary clubs, but also invited members of Lions, Sertoma, Kiwanis, Winter Night Club, CSLI, Colorado Springs Executives Association, Rising Stars, Colorado Springs Young Professionals, Leadership Pikes Peak, the Black, Hispanic, and Women’s Chambers. MISCELLANEOUS:
- Dear Friends,
We wanted to let you know that we’ve confirmed a date and place for the celebration. It IS in May, Mama and Daddy’s birthday month… just squeaking in on Tuesday, May 30, at 2 p.m.!
We’re incredibly fortunate that our location will be the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, a place that was so important to our parents and to us. Thanks so much for all of the help of Maria Capp — memories came flooding in as we stood in the Mashburn/Marshall Tactile Gallery, and in the spaces where many wonderful FAC openings and Imagination Celebration kickoffs happened.
More details to come, but we hope you will be able to join us, and please spread the word among friends of Mary and Wayne who we may not have on this list (and feel free to forward email addresses to us as well…).
Thank you for all your kindnesses and notes — so helpful during this difficult time as we work on moving forward,
Mary and Melissa Mashburn
